At Dr. Christian P. Manley’s office, we are always excited and look forward to welcoming new patients to our Issaquah and Sammamish, WA orthodontic offices. Whether you are interested in traditional metal braces, clear braces or Invisalign, we know that each patient’s individual needs are different and therefore you will be treated with the personalized care and attention that you deserve.
At your first orthodontic visit, you will be greeted by our scheduling coordinator, JoAnn, who will collect your new patient forms and insurance information. After that, our records tech, will take complimentary X-rays and photos of your teeth and mouth. Then you will see our treatment coordinator, Michelle, who will answer any questions and discuss your orthodontic concerns before you meet Dr. Manley.
Once you have met with Michelle, Dr. Manley will see you for an examination and discussion of potential treatment options. This important part of your first visit will address your specific orthodontic needs and determine when the proper time is to begin treatment.
Treatment Consultation
After we have evaluated your x-rays, photos and records, we will conduct a treatment consultation to explain every aspect of your treatment in detail. We will provide a complete clinical diagnosis regarding the nature of the problem, a written summary of the findings and a detailed plan that outlines your treatment, goals and estimated fees.
Some of the potential questions that will be answered during the first visit:
- Is there a condition that orthodontics can address?
- Is treatment needed now or should treatment be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors have occurred?
- What treatment procedures will be used to correct the problem?
- Do any permanent teeth need to be removed?
- How long will treatment take?
- How much will it cost?
- Will insurance cover a portion of the cost and what are my payment options?
We want to make sure that all of your questions are answered and that you feel comfortable. We will provide ample time for you to ask any other questions that you might have for us.
