It has been my honor and privilege to practice Orthodontics in the Issaquah/Sammamish area since 1991. I remember the year clearly, not only because I was fresh out of school, but also because my first child was born in April of that same year. During this time, I have been blessed to work with many amazing patients and families. I believe the people and the Dentists I have worked with in this area are the best in the world!
What I love about Orthodontics is witnessing the positive impact it has on my patients lives. There are many lifelong benefits. It is very fulfilling to know that I am creating smiles for my patients that they will use, not only at the most important events in their lives, but also every single day. They become much more confident in their socializing and interaction with those around them. It has been my joy to watch smiles develop that are not only healthier, but also more beautiful.
Education
I attended Walla Walla College for my pre-dental education. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and Masters degree in Orthodontics at Loma Linda University, in Loma Linda, California.
Continuing Education
The field of Orthodontics continues to change and evolve with exciting technology which can mean reduced treatment time with fewer visits, better results, and more comfort to our patients. I look forward to continuing education meetings with my team. These meetings, which we attend at least once a year, teach us how to treat our patients better and more efficiently. It is my commitment to my patients to provide them the best possible treatment for the most beautiful smiles and faces. I am blessed to have experienced, professional and friendly team members to help me accomplish this.

Family Life
I grew up on Orcas Island, Washington. I enjoyed the time I spent in Southern California during my schooling, however, it was always my intent to move back to the Pacific Northwest to raise my family and to enjoy life!
My wife Brenda and I have been married since 1987 and we have loved raising our daughter’s Ellie and Brooke and our son Christian. In addition to family time, I also enjoy cycling, golfing, skiing, traveling and reading.
